Job summary

Cape EMS Berhad, a leading electronics manufacturing services provider, seeks a Production Supervisor for Box Build and Assembly. You will oversee daily operations, supervise operators and line leaders, and ensure alignment with customer requirements, schedules, and safety standards.

Candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering/Manufacturing/Operations Management and have 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with hands-on expertise in box build or electronics

Qualifications

• Supervisory role in manufacturing environment required.
• Hands-on experience with box build and electronics assembly preferred.
• Strong planning and manpower allocation skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, ESD, and safety standards essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily box build and assembly operations to meet output and quality targets.
• Lead operators and line leaders; allocate manpower and assign daily tasks.
• Plan production activities per customer requirements and schedules.
• Monitor output, efficiency, downtime, and quality; manage manpower utilization.
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, drawings, and specs are followed.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot production problems and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct daily production briefings on targets, priorities and safety.
