Atomic Recruitment SEA is seeking a Boutique Manager in Kuala Lumpur for a leading international luxury watch brand. You will own sales, client relationships and daily boutique operations, leading a small team to deliver exceptional service for high-value clients.

The role requires 8+ years in luxury retail with 4+ years in team leadership, and a strong sales track record. You will drive client events, CRM detailing and high-end service, while managing store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in luxury retail, including at least 4 years managing a team.
• Experience in luxury watches or related high-end categories preferred.
• Strong interest in watches and craft behind them.
• Proven sales track record and leadership in building teams.
• Existing VIP / high-net-worth client network in Malaysia is a plus.
• Understanding of retail numbers, budgets and profit.

Responsibilities

• Own the boutique's results from sales, client relationships, to daily operations.
• Hit and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets and plan activities.
• Grow a loyal base of local and VIP clients; manage CRM records and events.
• Hire, train and coach a team of sales advisors; set targets and review performance.
• Oversee stock counts, cash handling, reporting and store security.
• Collaborate with head office on displays, marketing, stock planning and repairs.

About Our Client

Our client is an international luxury watch brand with a strong presence in Malaysia. They are looking for an experienced Boutique Manager to lead their boutique in Kuala Lumpur and take the business to the next level.

The Role

You will own the boutique's results, from sales and client relationships to team leadership and daily operations. It is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with high-value products and building long-term client relationships.

What You'll Do

Sales and Results

• Hit and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Plan sales activities and track results against goals.
• Watch the local luxury market and adjust your approach to stay ahead.
• Manage store expenses and keep the boutique profitable.

Client Relationships

• Grow a loyal base of local and VIP clients.
• Keep in regular contact with clients and make sure the team records client details and purchases in the CRM system.
• Organise client events and find new ways to reach potential buyers, such as partnerships with other brands or private clubs.

Service

• Make sure every client gets personal, high-quality service.
• Follow up with clients after their purchase and keep satisfaction scores high.
• Keep the boutique welcoming and the experience memorable.
• Hire, train and coach a team of sales advisors.
• Help the team build strong product knowledge and selling skills.
• Set targets, give feedback and run performance reviews.
• Keep the team motivated and working well together.

Store Operations

• Plan staff rosters and make sure company policies are followed.
• Oversee stock counts, cash handling, reporting and store security.
• Share weekly sales and performance updates with management.
• Work with head office teams on displays, marketing activities, stock planning and repairs or servicing.
• Keep accurate control of high-value stock and store materials.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 8 years in luxury retail, including at least 4 years managing a team.
• Experience in luxury watches is highly preferred. Candidates from fine jewellery or other high-end luxury categories are also welcome.
• A genuine interest in watches and the craft behind them.
• A strong sales track record and experience building successful teams.
• An existing network of VIP or high-net-worth clients in Malaysia is a strong plus.
• Good understanding of retail numbers, budgets and profit.
• Confident communicator who works well with people at all levels.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, Retail or a related field is preferred.
