Job summary

Intercontinental Specialty Fats Sdn. Bhd. (ISF) is seeking a Boiler Operator to operate COGEN, steam boilers, and related utility plants in our Port Klang facility. The role emphasizes monitoring water quality, and performing routine servicing to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The candidate should have a minimum SPM with credits in BM/English/Math/Science, 1–3 years in a related field, and relevant Boilerman Grade 1/2 certifications or engineering qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in related field
• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Boilerman Grade 1/2 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• To operate COGEN, Steam Boilers, Thermal oil heaters, Air Compressor, Demin & Soft water plant and cooling tower
• To collect water sample to test and monitor water quality as per scheduled
• To trouble-shoot and highlight to superior immediately if found any abnormality on firing and other related problems on COGEN, steam boilers & thermal Oil Heaters
• Able to perform minor repair and service
• To trouble- shoot DI & soft water plant water quality problem is found and able to carry out minor valve replacement and minor repairs
• To trouble shoot air compressor & air drier breakdown problems and able to carry our minor service and repair
• To trouble shoot cooling towers water quality problems
• To understand the necessary and able to record utility equipment operating condition data
• Upkeep and ensure all utilities equipment is safe and good running condition.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
