INTERNATIONAL FLAVORS & FRAGRANCES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking a hands‑on Boiler Operator to join our onsite facilities team. You will assist the Boiler Supervisor with steam boilers, compressors and cooling towers, ensuring safe operations.

Require an Engineering certificate or SPM/equivalent with relevant experience; Steam Boiler Operator Grade 1 certification is a must. Proficiency with MS Office and English plus local language is essential.

Qualifications

Engineering certificate or equivalent; or SPM/equivalent with 3+ years relevant experience.
Steam Boiler Operator Grade 1 certification under the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Proficient with MS Office and at least one computerized business OS; good English and local language.

Responsibilities

Assist the Boiler Supervisor in managing steam boilers and utilities equipment operations.
Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of steam boilers, air compressors, and cooling towers.
Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks as instructed by the Boiler Supervisor.
Monitor daily utilities consumption, including water, steam, natural gas, nitrogen, and compressed air.
Maintain workplace cleanliness and housekeeping to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including MS ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Support site activities related to new installations and equipment modifications.
Prepare and maintain facilities documentation accurately and timely.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior to support operational needs.
