Norman Process Oils Malaysia Plant Sdn Bhd is hiring a full-time Boilerman to oversee safe and efficient boiler operation at our Pasir Gudang plant in Johor. You will monitor boiler performance, perform maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of boiler experience, a valid boiler operator's certificate, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of boiler experience in oil and gas.
• Valid boiler operator's certificate or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Norman Process Oils Malaysia Plant Sdn Bhd as a full-time Boilerman. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the boiler systems at our plant located in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our oil and gas production and refinement operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain boilers, including monitoring pressure, temperature, and other parameters to ensure optimal performance

Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on boilers and associated equipment

Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the boiler system, and implement corrective actions as needed

Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, performance, and maintenance activities

Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures

Provide support and assistance to other team members as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boilerman or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry

Possess a valid boiler operator's certificate or equivalent

Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations, codes, and standards
