Job summary

Nexus Wise Sdn Bhd is seeking a Boiler & Production Operator to join our Semenyih facility. The role combines boiler operations, routine maintenance and hands-on production support in a busy nutraceutical ingredient environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically fit and able to balance boiler duties with production tasks, following SOPs and 6S practices to ensure consistent quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate required or recognised by DOSH/JKKP.
• Experience operating and maintaining industrial boiler systems is essential.
• Basic understanding of machinery, production processes and safety procedures.
• Ability to keep accurate operation records and logs.
• Willingness to perform hands-on production tasks and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient production.

Job description

Nexus Wise Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible and technically competent Boiler & Production Operator to join our operations team in Semenyih, Selangor.

This dual-function position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial boiler systems while supporting daily production activities. The successful candidate will oversee boiler operations, conduct routine inspections and maintenance, and assist with production processes, machinery operation, material handling and general manufacturing activities.

The role requires someone who is hands-on, safety-conscious and adaptable, with the ability to balance boiler operations and production support responsibilities according to operational requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

A. Boiler Operations & Maintenance

Operate and monitor industrial boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient and continuous operations.

Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance checks on boiler equipment and associated systems.

Monitor and record boiler operating parameters, including pressure, temperature, water levels and fuel consumption.

Maintain accurate boiler operation logs and other required documentation.

Identify abnormalities or potential mechanical issues and report them promptly to the relevant supervisor.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of boiler equipment and the surrounding boiler room.

Respond appropriately to boiler alarms, operational issues and emergency situations.

Ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety, health and boiler-related regulatory requirements.

B. Production Support & Operations

Assist in daily production activities, including operating production machinery and equipment as assigned.

Support production line operations to ensure smooth workflow and achievement of production targets.

Perform material preparation, handling, loading and unloading activities as required.

Monitor production processes and ensure products meet the required quality and operational standards.

Conduct basic equipment checks and report machinery abnormalities or breakdowns to the supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the production area in accordance with the company's 6S practices.

Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and safety requirements.

Assist with stock movement, packing and other production-related activities when required.

Carry out other operational duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

Possess a valid Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate recognised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP).

Previous experience in industrial boiler operations and maintenance.

Experience in manufacturing or production environments will be an added advantage.

Basic understanding of industrial machinery, production processes and equipment operations.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulatory compliance.

Ability to maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on production and operational tasks.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsible, disciplined, proactive and adaptable to changing operational requirements.

Willing to undertake both boiler-related and production support responsibilities based on operational needs.
