Job summary

Seal Product Industries Sdn Bhd seeks a skilled Blow Moulding Technician to join our Johor Bahru manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain blow moulding equipment to produce high quality plastic products and support production efficiency.

Responsibilities include machine setup, process monitoring, routine maintenance, mould adjustments, quality inspections, and supervising the production team to ensure output meets specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating or supervising blow moulding machinery.
• Strong understanding of blow moulding processes (extrusion, inflation, cooling).
• Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
• Willingness to perform routine equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines according to production schedules.
• Operate machines and monitor production parameters (temperature, cycle time, pressure).
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve defects.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure product conformance.
• Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and moulds.
• Configure and adjust moulds as required.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Supervise and coordinate the production team.

About the role

Seal Product Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Blow Moulding Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Blow Moulding Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process, operating and maintaining blow moulding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products. This position is essential to maintaining our production efficiency, product quality standards, and operational excellence within the manufacturing sector.

What you'll be doing

• Machine set up and calibration: Set production parameters according to production schedules and requirements.
• Machine operation: Monitor and record production processes and parameters such as temperature, cycle time, pressure etc ensuring optimal performances.
• Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues.
• Quality control: Constant inspection of products and ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
• Basic maintenance of machines and mould: Periodic checking and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Mould configuration and adjustments: Responsible for proper care of moulds.
• Maintain production records: Document machine settings and maintenance records.
• Supervise and coordinate production team.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating or supervising blow moulding machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of blow moulding processes, including extrusion, inflation, and cooling cycles
• Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and production specifications
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and identify potential mechanical issues
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (preferred)
