Job summary

Xin Networks Sdn Bhd, a data centre cabling specialist, seeks a BIM Modeller Cum Drafter on a contract basis in Johor Bahru. You will develop BIM models, produce 2D/3D drawings, and collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure model accuracy.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in BIM modelling and drafting, with Dalux, Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and a relevant engineering/architecture qualification. Join a team delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across sectors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modelling and engineering drafting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in using Dalux, Autodesk Revit and other BIM software, as well as AutoCAD and other CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, building codes, cable tray, cable basket, cable trunking and cable ladder.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Generate 2D and 3D engineering drawings, plans, and schematics from the BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy of BIM models and drawings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM and drafting processes and standards.
• Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of all BIM and drafting activities.
• Produce ICT shop drawings and as-built drawings during project completion.
