Job summary

PMX Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator for data centre projects. You will coordinate 3D BIM models, perform clash detection, and ensure multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with design teams, architects, clients, consultants, engineers and contractors to deliver accurate BIM solutions. Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks is required, with strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of BIM coordination experience in construction.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, MEP-intensive, or large-scale Design & Build projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks with 3D modelling, clash detection, and model coordination.
• Familiar with BIM processes, LOD requirements, BEP, CDE workflows, model QA/QC, and BIM documentation.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models (Architectural, Structural, and MEP).
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper integration across disciplines.
• Focus on model accuracy, data integrity, and ensuring all elements meet required specifications.
• Carry out BIM project initial setup including templates, Revit family library, title block, CDE and workflows; facilitate BIM coordination meetings.
• Prepare and maintain BIM documentation such as BEP, minutes, reports, RFI tracking, and BIM timesheet.
• Learn and adapt to Cloud, Design Collaboration, and Model coordination and QA/QC own work.
• Develop and coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models for clash detection, construction planning, quantity extraction, construction, and as-built purposes.
• Coordinate with BIM modellers, designers, engineers, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
