Job summary

Airswift in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Engineering Designer to create project drawings and BIM models in AutoCAD and Revit, aligned with client specs and project schedules.

You will collaborate with project managers and clients, maintain design diagrams, and stay updated with company standards to ensure high-quality service and timely support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Data Centre project experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create project drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit aligned with client specs and schedules.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and third parties for seamless coordination.
• Maintain up-to-date system design diagrams reflecting evolving project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and quality of service.
• Coordinate site inspections with project managers, third parties, and clients when required.
• Respond promptly to service requests within the assigned region to ensure client satisfaction.
• Engage in internal training and self-driven learning to stay proficient with industry tools.

Job description

• Ensure timely and precise creation of project drawings and design diagrams that align with client specifications and project schedules.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality design solutions and providing exceptional service to meet their needs.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, and third parties to ensure seamless coordination and successful execution of projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD tools, along with company-specific technology and standards, ensuring high competency and skill application.
• Draft and model accurate system designs using AutoCAD and BIM Revit software in accordance with project schedules and client requirements.
• Continuously update system design diagrams as project requirements evolve, ensuring accuracy and relevancy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with existing clients by providing high-quality design solutions and maintaining clear, open communication.
• Collaborate with project managers, third parties, and clients (when required) to coordinate site inspections and ensure project requirements are met.
• Actively participate in internal training programs and pursue self-driven learning to stay proficient in industry tools, products, and technology.
• Follow The Company's standards, policies, and procedures to maintain the high quality of services provided.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to service requests within the assigned region to ensure timely support and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years' of experience working in a similar role
• Prior experience working in Data Centre projects will be highly advantageous.
