Job summary

Marcus Builders Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced BIM modeller to develop and maintain architectural and structural Revit BIM models for building projects in Malaysia.

You will convert 2D designs to contractor-ready 3D models and prepare comprehensive shop drawings across architectural and structural scopes. The role requires reading architectural, structural, and M&E drawings, strong detailing knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with MEP teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years BIM modelling experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong Revit portfolios may be considered.
• Able to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Good understanding of construction detailing and architectural finishes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectural, structural Revit BIM models for building construction projects.
• Develop and maintain structural Revit BIM models for building construction projects.
• Model walls, floors, doors, windows, ceilings, finishes, staircases, wet areas, facade interfaces, roofing and builder's work openings.
• Model foundations, piling, pile caps, columns, walls, beams, slabs, transfer structures, staircases, ramps and roof structures.
• Convert consultant 2D drawings/design models into contractor working and construction models.
• Update models based on approved design revisions, site instructions and architectural instructions.
• Produce architectural shop drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, details, schedules and as-built drawings.
• Produce structural shop drawings, precast drawings, reinforcement drawings and BBS where required.
• Coordinate Structural models with Architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination with Structural and MEP teams.
• Perform clash detection and coordination. Resolve assigned clashes and identify design discrepancies, missing information and buildability concerns.

Requirements;

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 2 years' BIM modelling experience preferred.

Fresh graduates with strong Revit portfolios may be considered.

Good understanding of construction detailing and architectural finishes.
