Safar247 Asia Pacific is seeking a CAD/BIM Draftsman to coordinate telecom infrastructure drawings with architectural plans and to develop detailed CAD drawings for data centers and projects in Kuala Lumpur.

The role emphasizes BIM implementation, 3D modeling, and collaboration with engineers and clients, with site visits as needed. Diploma preferred; AutoCAD/Revit proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma holder in Architecture, Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or other relevant studies.
• CIDB green card and NIOSH holder preferred but not required.
• Experience in telecommunication and data center environment is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate infrastructure drawings and specifications with architectural documents for telecom facilities infrastructure design and construction.
• Develop detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Prepare and review proposal and costing drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Consult with colleagues and customers to design layouts and resolve design issues.
• Check and file drawings per the company quality system.
• Specify dimensions, materials and procedures for new products.
• Draft and prepare layout drawings of structures, components and devices.
• Revise drawings to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Perform data updates and maintenance to complete work orders in legacy mapping system using AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models and 2D floor plans for data centers.
• Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings and tender drawings for projects.
• Develop BIM models with correct parameters and 4D simulation.
