Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecom Revit Modeler in Kuala Lumpur to develop and maintain Telecom/ELV BIM models for data centers and mission-critical projects. You will coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams, ensuring models meet LOD/LOI and BEP requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics & Communications/ICT or related BIM/CAD discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of BIM modelling and design support experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Telecom/ELV Revit models according to project requirements and BIM standards.
• Ensure models meet project BEP, LOD/LOI, and client requirements.
• Create/update layouts, containment, equipment placements, and model elements.
• Add parameters, system information and schedules to support design and construction.
• Prepare model-based drawings, schedules and deliverables for reviews and submissions.
• Support construction-stage modelling and coordinate with junior modellers.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
• Identify and resolve simple clashes; escalate complex issues to seniors.
• Perform BIM quality checks and update models with design changes.
• Participate in coordination meetings to resolve multidisciplinary conflicts.
