Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a BIM Modeller in Malaysia to design control systems, develop 3D BIM models, and coordinate with contractors using Revit, Navisworks, and ACC. You will work across office and client sites to ensure models reflect field changes and meet LOD500 standards.

The role requires a Diploma with at least 3 years of BIM experience in MEP, strong detailing, and collaborative skills to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Engineering Technology or equivalent experiences.
• At least 3 years' experience with BIM modelling experience, related to MEP services.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. Knowledge of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly desirable.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of components for Building Management Systems including control panels, sensors/instruments, and containment systems utilizing Autodesk Revit.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with main contractor and other contractors to resolve spatial conflicts or clashes.
• Update 3D models throughout construction phase to reflect site changes, ensuring final delivery meeting LOD500 standards.
• Prepare and modify electrical panel drawings and layouts of schematics.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and assist with selection of components.
• Liaise and coordinate cross-team support on BIM software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.
• Experience both site and office work.

Job description

As a BIM Modeller at RoviSys, you will get exposure to all aspects of a project including both office work and spending time at client sites. You will be responsible for the design of control systems including the cable tray and field devices, designs, drafting and coordination of drawing works into the Master Federated Model. You will work with a talented group of people using the latest technologies to provide innovative electrical and control solutions to our clients.
