Job summary

Letrikon Engineering Sdn. Bhd. invites a skilled BIM Modeler to join our electrical and mechanical contracting team in Malaysia. You will create 3D BIM models, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for high-rise projects, focusing on MEP services and cross-discipline coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Architecture or Engineering, with 5–6 years of BIM experience in construction or engineering, and are prepared for extended hours and Saturday work, including relocation if required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in construction/engineering, esp. MEP.
• Able to work extended hours; Saturday work required.
• Willing to relocate and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Utilize BIM to prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, 3D BIM models and combine services drawings for electrical systems.
• Assist Head of Drafting and PM/PE to organize drawings lists and project documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings and update the 3D model as required.
• Handle other duties assigned by the Head of Drafting and PM/PE.

Job description

A BIM Modeler role in the construction or engineering industries, particularly focused on MEP services. The position involves utilizing BIM software to prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and coordinate across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

Utilize BIM to prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, 3D BIM models and combine services drawings in accordance to project requirement, especially for electrical system

Assist Head of Drafting and PM/PE to organise drawings list and project documentation

Attend coordination meeting and follow up on the latest drawing and update the 3D model from time to time if required

Other duties and assignments to be assigned by the Head of Drafting and PM/PE when necessary

About you

Possess at least a Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field

Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)

Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in the construction or engineering industries, particularly MEP services

Able to work extended working hours if project rushing

Saturday work required

Work independently

Posses own transport and willing to relocate
