Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a BIM Specialist to develop, update and maintain 3D BIM models in line with the BIM Execution Plan and project requirements. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design models, conduct clash detection, and prepare coordination reports to support design and site teams.

The role requires 2+ years of BIM modelling experience, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and a strong understanding of construction drawings and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years BIM modelling experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain 3D BIM models per BEP and project requirements.
• Coordinate and integrate design models across disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Conduct clash detection and prepare coordination reports for design and site teams.
• Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness and alignment with latest revisions.
• Support BIM workflows, modelling standards, templates and quality control procedures.
• Provide BIM modelling and technical support to project teams during design and construction stages.
• Ensure BIM models comply with client requirements, design specs and company standards.

• Coordinate and integrate design models across disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes.
• Conduct clash detection and prepare coordination reports to support design and site teams.
• Review BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness and alignment with the latest design revisions.
• Support BIM workflows, modelling standards, templates and quality control procedures.
• Provide BIM modelling and technical support to project teams during design coordination and construction stages.
• Ensure BIM models comply with client requirements, design specifications and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architect, Mechanical, Electrical or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of BIM modelling experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and other relevant BIM coordination tools.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, multidisciplinary coordination and model integration.
• Data centre or mission‑critical project experience is an added advantage.
• Detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple model updates under tight deadlines.
• Good teamwork, communication and coordination skills.
