Job summary

JAC Recruitment Malaysia is seeking an Architectural Technician to support documentation and delivery of architectural projects across development stages. You will produce accurate BIM models using Revit, coordinate with consultants, and ensure compliance with local and Australian/Malay regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural documentation and technical delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Revit with BIM modelling capabilities.
• Experience with construction documentation, authority submissions, and tender documentation packages.
• Knowledge of Australian NCC requirements and/or Malaysian UBBL regulations is an added advantage.
• Experience with BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud is desirable.
• Excellent English communication and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate architectural documentation using Revit and AutoCAD across project stages.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models through design and construction.
• Prepare design development drawings, construction documentation, and submission packages.
• Coordinate documentation with structural, civil, mechanical, and other consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Australian and Malaysian regulations and project requirements.
• Assist with construction detailing, material selections, and technical design solutions.
• Review consultant drawings and update BIM models with coordinated changes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and office standards.
