Job summary

Arte Axis Design Group / Anuar Aziz Architect in Malaysia is seeking an Architectural BIM Technician who is technically strong and confident working in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD.

You will develop and deliver architectural production information from design development through submission, tender and construction documentation, coordinating with structural and M&E consultants.

Job description

At Arte Axis Design Group / Anuar Aziz Architect, we are looking for an Architectural BIM Technician who is technically strong, disciplined in production and confident working in both Revit/BIM and AutoCAD.

This is not merely a BIM modelling role. You will be involved in developing and delivering architectural production information from design development through authority submission, tender and construction documentation.

What You’ll Do

Develop architectural production drawings and documentation for submission, tender and construction stages.

Prepare working drawings, detailed drawings, schedules and other technical information in accordance with the Architect/Designer’s approved design intent.

Develop, maintain and update architectural BIM/Revit models as part of the project documentation process.

Coordinate architectural information with structural, M&E and other consultants.

Identify missing information, discrepancies and coordination issues and highlight them for resolution.

Create, edit and maintain Revit families, project content and other BIM resources.

Ensure drawings and BIM information are accurate, coordinated and compliant with relevant authority requirements and project standards.

Support the development of architectural drawing standards, technical details, Revit templates and BIM libraries.

Attend coordination meetings, site visits and inspections where required.

Take responsibility for the completeness and timely preparation of assigned architectural production work.

Who We’re Looking For

Professional Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Design or equivalent.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD — both are required.

Strong knowledge of architectural production drawings, detailing and documentation.

Good understanding of UBBL, authority requirements and statutory submission requirements.

Experience in preparing submission, tender and construction drawings.

Good knowledge of building construction, materials and architectural detailing.

Experience in creating and editing Revit families and project content.

Able to coordinate architectural information with structural, M&E and other disciplines.

Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural production experience preferred.

Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

You understand what needs to be produced, not just what you are told to draw.

You can organise and develop a complete architectural drawing package with minimum supervision.

You are equally comfortable working in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD.

You have a strong eye for technical accuracy, consistency and coordination.

You can spot missing information, drawing conflicts and coordination issues before they become problems.

You understand that BIM is a tool for proper architectural production and delivery, not merely a 3D model.

You are disciplined, responsible and able to take ownership of your work.
