Job summary

DP Architects in Malaysia is seeking a BIM Modeler / BIM Coordinator to develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for architectural, civil, and structural works. You will coordinate models across disciplines and support project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, BIM, Construction, or related fields.
• Relevant experience in BIM modelling, coordination, or management.
• Proficient in Revit and/or other relevant BIM software.
• Good understanding of BIM processes, modelling, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Candidates with BIM certification or relevant project experience will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for architectural, civil, and structural works.
• Prepare and update BIM models, drawings, and project documentation.
• Coordinate BIM models across different disciplines and project teams.
• Perform clash detection and coordination to identify and resolve design issues.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and specifications.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Support BIM implementation, workflows, and standards throughout the project.
• For senior positions, lead BIM coordination, manage BIM deliverables, and guide the BIM team.
• Participate in meetings and provide technical support on BIM-related matters.
• Perform other BIM-related tasks as required by the project.
