Jora Malaysia is seeking a drafting professional to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and to produce GA, detail, fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings.
You will revise drawings from engineers and architects, incorporating changes and client feedback while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for clash-free design across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, construction plans, and design documents using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Produce layout drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, detail drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings.
Prepare and revise technical drawings based on specifications, sketches, and markups provided by engineers, architects, or project managers.
Incorporate design changes and client feedback into drawing revisions.
Work with engineers, architects, project teams, and clients to integrate multidisciplinary designs and ensure drawing accuracy.
Participate in project coordination meetings to facilitate the integration and clash-free coordination of drawings across disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
Liaise with site teams to ensure drawings align with actual construction requirements.
Quality Control & Documentation
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
Check drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and archive CAD files and technical documents, ensuring version control and document integrity.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM) and design specifications.
Additional Duties
Complete drafting tasks on schedule to support project deadlines.
Perform other drafting or project-support tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
NITEC, Diploma, or higher qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant drafting experience (preferably in the construction or engineering industry).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD - able to produce high-quality 2D drawings efficiently.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and independently produce complete drawing sets.
Familiarity with architectural drawings, structural details, and relevant engineering codes/standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates with BIM (Building Information Modelling) knowledge and skills will be given priority consideration.
Specific advantageous skills include:
Revit - ability to create and edit 3D BIM models.
Navisworks - experience in model coordination and clash detection.
Multidisciplinary BIM modelling - exposure to architectural, structural, or MEP modelling.
BIM project experience - familiarity with setting up BIM project templates, families, title blocks, and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
BIM documentation - ability to assist in preparing RFIs (Requests for Information), drawing registers, schedules, and other BIM deliverables.
Draughtsman with BIM capabilities go beyond traditional 2D drafting - they contribute to 3D model development, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination, significantly improving project efficiency and quality.
