Job summary

Cision in Kuala Lumpur is hiring for a proofreading-focused role within PR Newswire operations. The position offers hybrid work arrangements, permanent full-time employment, and exposure to APAC markets through professional writers and distribution platforms.

You will format and proofread client press releases, communicate improvements, and ensure smooth workflow across teams. Training during daytime hours precedes night shifts, with a 10 pm–7 am roster on some schedules.

Qualifications

• 1 year of working experience is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (reading and writing Traditional and Simplified Chinese) to communicate with APAC clients.
• Highly self-motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

• Format client press releases, proofread documents with speed and accuracy;
• Offer professional suggestions to customers on how to improve their press releases;
• Ensure all client requests are handled to the highest customer service standards;
• Ensure that the team's routine workflow runs smoothly and that tasks are managed properly;
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of distribution platforms and processes;
• Maintain seamless collaboration with colleagues in other functions and provide help as needed;
• Provide regular feedback on operational activities to the supervisor.
