Job summary

STARTRADER is seeking a Marketing Production & Merchandise Executive (Chinese & English) to oversee brand materials, gifts and merchandise, supplier coordination, production, and event support. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery of collateral and campaigns.

The role requires 1–3 years in brand operations or related fields, strong project management, and bilingual Chinese/English communication skills. On-site in Kuala Lumpur with regional branding exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in brand collateral management, marketing operations, procurement, production coordination, or project management.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and highly organised with strong execution and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.
• Familiarity with China-based supply chains or supplier management experience.
• Good written and verbal communication in Chinese and English with overseas teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Brand collateral management, planning, production, updating and day-to-day oversight.
• Coordinate production of brochures, posters, roll-up banners, display boards, gift packaging and other branded materials.
• Maintain brand collateral library and ensure version control and documentation.
• Support development, sampling, production and delivery of corporate gifts and merchandise.
• Coordinate with design teams, suppliers and manufacturers for quality and timeliness.
• Manage merchandise inventory, distribution and usage plans.
• Source and develop suppliers, request quotations, and manage day-to-day communications.
• Oversee full production process: sampling, production, inspection and delivery; coordinate logistics and international shipments.
• Maintain supplier records and optimize resources and processes; assist in budgeting.
• Support exhibitions, brand events and marketing campaigns materials; handle transport, on-site setup and post-event reviews.
