Job summary

Borneo XHub is expanding its data analytics team in Kuching, Malaysia, to support BI-driven decision making and financial planning. The role focuses on data collection, dashboard development, budgeting, and procurement reporting.

The position requires a degree in data analytics or related fields, with experience in BI tools and strong financial acumen. On-site work and a competitive salary are provided for growth-minded candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field, or a professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Diploma holders with at least three (3) years of relevant experience in data analytics are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree are also welcome to apply.
• Additional qualifications in Accounting or a business-related field will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and deployment of data-driven solutions and BI tools to enhance strategic planning, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
• Work closely with Management Units to collect and validate data, ensuring accurate costing and financial feasibility assessments for projects, courses, or activities.
• Apply BI tools to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of reports used to monitor and support the Campus Plan and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Management Units to collect, validate, and analyze data for accurate project costing and financial feasibility assessments.
• Leverage BI technologies to produce timely, accurate, and reliable financial and operational reports.
• Assist in budget planning by gathering and analyzing data to support forecasts and projections.
• Prepare procurement reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses to aid management reviews.
• Monitor budget utilization and spending patterns, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all financial documentation complies with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, track progress, and improve reporting templates and knowledge-sharing materials.
