Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD seeks a Business Intelligence & Data Mining Specialist in Penang, Malaysia. You will develop BI dashboards, analytics, and data mining solutions across the organization, translating business needs into actionable reporting.

Join a globally oriented team driving data-driven decisions and operational excellence. You will work with SQL-based data environments, visualize insights for stakeholders, and contribute to scalable reporting while staying current with BI and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, CS or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in BI, data analytics or data mining.
• Strong SQL and experience with structured data.
• Experience with BI dashboards, reporting and visualization tools.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve BI dashboards, reports and KPIs.
• Translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Perform data mining to support cost reduction, revenue growth and efficiency.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support centralized, scalable reporting environments and data quality initiatives.
