Job summary

Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi is seeking a Bell Attendant to welcome guests, assist with room directions and facility explanations, and help with luggage and guest requests. The role involves delivering messages and maintaining lobby cleanliness while upholding hotel policies and service standards.

The position requires courteous interactions, prompt responses to inquiries, and cooperation with Concierge and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, neat and professional image to guests.
• Provide courteous services to guests and respond promptly and tactfully to guest complaints, requests and enquiries.
• Greet guests and offer assistance, direct guest to registration desk and wait until guestrooms have been assigned by the Guest Service Assistant.
• Accompany guest to the assigned rooms and explain all facilities in the room.
• Inform and sell to guests other facilities in the hotel.
• When guest is checking out, carry their luggage to the lobby and direct guests to cashier counters.
• Load luggage into taxis or other vehicles and at the same time counting them and confirm the number with the guest.
• Deliver messages, parcels, packages, letters and newspaper to guest rooms, apartments offices and other departments.
• Keep the lobby area clean and in order
• Run errands, morning calls and carry luggage on room transfers.
• Report to the Chief Concierge and Duty Manager all unusual situation occurring in the lobby and floor area.
• Comply with all the rules and regulations, policies and procedures of the hotel.
• Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the management of the hotel.
