Job summary

HSBC International Wealth and Personal Banking in Kuala Lumpur invites an Assistant Manager, Business Development to identify and acquire new clients across WSB, MM2H, PVIP, REA and Education segments. You will support Premier account openings for eligible clients and nurture referral partnerships.

You will plan and execute networking events, visit business partners, and act as a door opener for the sales team to access corporate offices, driving growth for mobile sales force.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years’ experience in business development, partnerships event or customer acquisition.
• Strong networking, communication and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads and drive business growth.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills during roadshow or events.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
• Desire: strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients under WSB / MM2H / PVIP / REA / Education and etc segment.
• Facilitate and support Premier account opening process for eligible clients.
• Identify potential companies to onboard into LG referral programme and maintain relationships with referral partners.
• Plan, organize and execute networking events to build relationship and generate business for Premier account and Mortgage.
• Conduct regular visits to business partners to foster the relationship.
• Act as the door opener for sales team by arranging introductions and access to corporate offices.
