Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia/Singapore seeks an experienced senior product development leader to drive new bakery products from concept to commercialisation. Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant product development experience, including 4+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong product development experience in high-volume bakery manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food regulatory requirements in Malaysia and Singapore.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and team coaching abilities.
• Ability to design, formulate and commercialise new products from concept to scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product and process development from concept through production.
• Initiate pre-launch production with operations team.
• Develop processes compatible with manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure compliance across development, improvements, and innovation initiatives.
• Ensure products meet government regulations, brand values and consumer expectations.
• Manage the new product development pipeline from concept to commercialisation.
• Launch products on time aligned with briefs, market needs and regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with ingredient science, nutrition, technology and regulatory trends in bakery.
• Collaborate on technical specifications including ingredients, process, shelf-life and packaging.
• Build and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, development planning and coaching.
• Champion a high-performance culture and cascade strategic direction.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across all premises, including risk and incident management.
