Talent Recruit is representing a well-established Halal & HACCP pastry and bakery manufacturer in Malaysia seeking an experienced R&D Manager. The role leads the R&D team for bread, Danish and frozen cake departments, focusing on product innovation, automation, and quality improvements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production and QA, driving automation initiatives, and managing R&D budgets and projects to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in baking or frozen food R&D.
• Degree in Food Science, Bakery Science or related field.
• Deep knowledge of baking processes, automation and frozen product development.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the R&D department, setting strategic goals for innovation and quality.
• Collaborates with production, QA and marketing to ensure market relevance.
• Coordinates OEM frozen product development with corporate customers.
