VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur invites a customer-focused bakery counter staff to join our team at The Gardens Mall. You will weigh, price, package baked goods, handle payments, and ensure friendly service for a diverse clientele.

You will manage ingredient stock, maintain clean counters, assist with display, and support our Baker with timely feedback, while adhering to food safety standards and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in serving customers in a bakery environment preferred.
• Proficiency in weighing, pricing, packaging and processing payments of baked goods.
• Knowledge of food and health industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, price, package purchased items and process payments.
• Manage bakery ingredients inventory and request stock purchases.
• Track ingredient expiry dates and plan usage.
• Monitor visual display and availability of baked goods.
• Report low stock of baked goods to the Baker promptly.
• Maintain clean and tidy counter and perform other duties as requested.
• Clean the kitchen after business hours and prepare it for the next day.
• Handle customer complaints and relay to the Baker.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
