Job summary

Toh Soon Cafe SDN BHD in Petaling Jaya, Selangor is hiring a dedicated Baker to join our cafe team. You will produce fresh breads, pastries and other baked goods daily, ensuring top quality and consistency.

As a full-time baker, you will follow recipes, operate ovens and mixers, maintain hygiene, manage ingredients, and collaborate with the cafe team to meet daily demand while upholding our standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker or similar baking role in cafe/bakery setting.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately for consistent quality.
• Proficient in operating standard baking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods.
• Ensure all baked products meet health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Maintain and manage inventory of baking ingredients and stock levels.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.).
• Prepare dough and batters with precise measurements.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures for perfection.
• Decorate and finish baked items to specifications.
• Collaborate with cafe team to meet daily production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized baking station and storage areas.
