Job summary

JAST B TRADING in Kedah is seeking a bakery worker to prepare and bake bread, pastries, and local Malaysian kuih, ensuring consistent taste and quality. You will handle doughs, fillings, and baking components, while following recipes to maintain texture and flavor.

Responsibilities include mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing, plus monitoring oven temperatures and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery. You will assist with daily production planning and help minimize waste.

• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure products are properly baked.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery and kitchen area.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Check the quality and freshness of baked products.
• Assist with planning daily baking and production requirements.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
• Maintain and clean baking equipment and tools.
• Support other kitchen duties when required.
