Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced bakery operative to prepare and bake bread, pastries, Malaysian kuih, and related products. You will follow recipes to maintain consistent taste and texture, manage doughs, fillings, creams, and other components, and operate ovens with careful monitoring for quality.

Applicants should maintain high cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery, store ingredients properly, and assist with daily production planning to minimize waste and ensure timely output.

• Handle mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing of products.
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure products are properly baked.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery and kitchen area.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Check the quality and freshness of baked products.
• Assist with planning daily baking and production requirements.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
