2C2P is seeking an Engineer, Software Development in Malaysia to bolster backend services for existing payment platforms and new solutions. You’ll design, build, and maintain reliable backend systems, APIs, and batch jobs, collaborating with product, DevOps, and support teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in backend development, strong Java, C#, or Python, plus experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and a keen interest in AI coding tools to boost productivity.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience, preferably backend.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Willingness to use AI coding tools to improve productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop reliable and critical services of the payment platform.
• Design and develop features on payment sub-systems: transactions, merchant services, refunds, settlements, reporting.
• Analyze impacts and build APIs, backend services, batch jobs, and integration components.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Business, and support teams to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and implement system improvements.
• Apply AI Coding tools (Claude, Codex, Kiro) to increase development efficiency.
