• Design and operate scalable backend systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain systems supporting the customer lifecycle including web servers, infrastructures and database.
• Research and develop infrastructure and APIs that integrate third-party services and grow with the business.
• Ensure reliability and accuracy of all systems to meet business needs and customer experience.
• Partner with departments to deliver automation for manual tasks.
• Liaise with third-party contractors on system-related items.
• Manage ad hoc requests and troubleshoot system issues.
• Maintain autonomy and ownership over work.
• Collaborate to promote best practices, standards and culture.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
