Job summary

One Axis Digital Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a fresh graduate or junior Backend Developer to join our Go-focused team in Kuala Lumpur. You will learn Go, contribute to API and backend services, and collaborate with product and frontend teams on scalable solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS/SE/IT, basic Go/Java/C#/PHP programming, knowledge of MySQL, Linux, and a keenness to learn. Proficiency in Chinese is required for daily collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of backend development experience.
• Basic programming experience in Go, Java, C#, or PHP. Candidates without Go experience are welcome if they have strong programming fundamentals and are willing to learn Go.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and SQL development.
• Basic understanding of backend development, APIs, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and common Linux commands is preferred.
• Strong learning ability, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and interest in backend engineering.
• Good coding habits and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficiency in Chinese is required as it will be used as a working language.
