Job summary

Avanade Malaysia is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Architect to lead solutioning for Applications and Infrastructure across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. You will translate client problems into Microsoft‑centric, Azure‑based architectures and guide workshops, proposals and deals with CTO/CIO‑level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in application architecture, software engineering or technology consulting.
• At least 4 years in a pre‑sales or solution architect role.
• Proven track record winning mid‑to‑large application modernization and cloud transformation deals (USD 1M–10M+).
• Hands‑on understanding of microservices, containers, API design and DevSecOps on Azure.
• Experience embedding GenAI tooling into SDLC and AI agents, prompts and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution for Apps and Infra pursuits — from qualification through proposal, orals and contracting.
• Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders to elicit business drivers and pain points.
• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures spanning modernization, microservices and Azure infrastructure.
• Produce artefacts: architecture diagrams, estimates, delivery approach, risk registers and logs.
• Mentor junior architects and solution consultants; partner with sales and delivery leadership.
