Job summary

CluedIn is seeking an Azure Operations (DevOps) Engineer to join our client’s team. You will maintain Kubernetes clusters on Microsoft Azure, assist with upgrades, patching, monitoring, and incident response, and contribute to automation and documentation.

You should have production Kubernetes experience, scripting (Bash/PowerShell/YAML), and Azure familiarity, plus a proactive attitude to learn and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Willingness to learn and support required tasks.
• Proficient in IT hardware, software, and basic networking troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Cluster Maintenance: maintain and monitor Kubernetes clusters on Azure.
• Upgrades and patching: support cluster upgrades and patching for stability and security.
• Troubleshooting: identify and resolve issues in the cluster environment.
• Automation: contribute to automation scripts to streamline tasks.
• Documentation: keep configurations and procedures well-documented.
• Monitoring and Alerts: set up monitoring and alerting for proactive issue detection.
• Collaboration: work with development and operations teams for smooth deployment.
