Job summary

Epicor seeks a Cloud Operations professional to support production environments on Microsoft Azure, including VMs, storage, networking, and Kubernetes. You will troubleshoot cross-team incidents, manage CI/CD deployments, and contribute to automation and documentation.

Responsibilities include incident ownership, weekend deployments, and collaboration with Tier 1/3, Development, and Infrastructure teams. A BI/IT background with Azure and Kubernetes skills is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, production support, DevOps, or related field.
• Hands-on experience administering Azure production environments.
• Experience supporting containers and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server for production troubleshooting.
• Experience managing escalated incidents (P1, system-down).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes are preferred but not required.
• Ability to support occasional scheduled weekend activities.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and resolves Tier 2 incidents for cloud-hosted production apps and infra.
• Triages issues across app, database, network, infra, and product teams with ownership.
• Manages incidents, requests, and tasks via ServiceNow per SLAs.
• Administers production environments on Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking, containers, Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoots availability, performance, deployment, connectivity, container, Kubernetes, and SQL issues.
• Supports automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, product upgrades, go-lives and cloud activities.
• Escalates unresolved issues to Tier 3 or specialists and follows through to resolution.
• Serves as SME to Tier 1 Cloud Operations and other internal teams.
• Creates and maintains operational docs, guides, and opportunities for automation.
• Supports occasional scheduled weekend activities; no regular on-call.
