Job summary

Centre Circle Audio in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to set up and test AV systems for live events and installations. You will connect equipment, verify signal quality and ensure reliable operation in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the AV industry is preferable.
• Experience in Audio Visual or IT industry is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in AV installation and cabling works is preferred.
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must possess driving license.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, setting up and connecting all audio visual equipment for correct performances.
• Testing the equipment to ensure everything is connected correctly and the signal is strong.
• Installing permanent AV equipment in home entertainment and commercial rooms.
• Cleaning, repairing and maintaining all equipment.
• Creating records about inventory, maintenance and other key details related to the equipment.
• Providing technical assistance to users of AV equipment.
• Maintain systems and provide proactive after-sales technical service to project sites.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve complex technical software and hardware issues quickly to minimize client downtime.
