Job summary
ARRK Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Engineer to join our automotive software team in Malaysia. You will develop software that runs on Linux- and Android-based embedded systems, from cockpit displays to in-car interactions, and gain hands-on experience with production-grade systems and forward-looking innovation projects.
The role offers opportunities to grow toward more senior technical responsibilities; requires a degree in CS/EE/SE, strong C++, Kotlin, Python skills, and experience
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Kotlin, and Python.
- Hands-on software development experience through internships or projects.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and Android Automotive OS.
- Familiarity with Qt/QML and UI/HMI development.
- Knowledge of automotive communication technologies such as CAN or Automotive Ethernet.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop software for Linux- and Android-based embedded systems using modern tools.
- Implement UI/UX concepts for next-generation vehicle cockpits.
- Support rapid prototyping on embedded systems and mobile devices.
- Contribute to the design and integration of AI-based features in the vehicle context.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following established coding standards.
- Support debugging, testing, and quality assurance activities across the software lifecycle.
