Job summary

GOH BROTHERS MOTOR (DIDI) SDN. BHD is seeking an Automotive Technician for Proton Silibin in Ipoh to service, diagnose, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.

You will perform engine, transmission, brake and suspension work, conduct testing, and ensure safety and quality in every task. Applicants should hold a SKM/Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field, with 0–3 years in the automotive sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Preferably 1-3 years of working experience in the automotive industry.
• Fresh graduates with relevant automotive qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Able to perform vehicle diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair works independently.
• Familiar with automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Responsible, hardworking, disciplined and able to work in a team.
• Willing to learn new automotive technologies and attend technical training when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair works according to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension and other vehicle component repairs.
• Conduct vehicle testing and ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
• Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Maintain proper workshop housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Complete repair orders, service reports and other documentation as required by the superior.
