Job summary

Transcontinental R&D (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Aircond Foreman (Senior/Junior) for our Butterworth workshop. You will lead and supervise technicians, focusing on air-conditioning systems for commercial vehicles. Training will be provided and no prior commercial vehicle experience is required, only attitude.

Responsibilities include basic service, regas, fault-finding, reading and following SOPs, and ensuring quality with daily work logs. Work hours Mon–Fri 8:30–17:30, Sat 8:30–13:30.

Qualifications

• Experience with air-conditioning systems for lorries, vans, and buses.
• Ability to lead junior technicians.
• Willingness to learn SOPs and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise junior technicians.
• Perform basic service, regas and fault-finding on air-conditioning systems.
• Read and follow SOPs; ensure quality and accuracy in workmanship.

Job Title: Aircond Foreman | SENIOR/JUNIOR

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: RM2,200 – RM3,500 per month

About the Role

TORQ Service Centre is a newly established professional workshop in Butterworth specialising in commercial vehicle maintenance for corporate clients. We are looking for SENIOR/JUNIOR AIRCOND FOREMAN.

You do not need commercial vehicle experience. We will train you. What we cannot train is attitude.

SENIOR FOREMAN

REQUIREMENTS / KEPERLUAN

• Experience with lorry, van, bus air-conditioning systems / Sistem aircond lori, van & bas
• Able to lead junior technician / Boleh supervise pekerja junior

JUNIOR FOREMAN

REQUIREMENTS / KEPERLUAN

• Basic service, regas & fault-finding / Servis asas, regas & cari kerosakan

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year workshop experience OR fresh graduate from vocational school / polytechnic automotive programme
• Basic mechanical knowledge — servicing, brakes, filters
• Willing to learn and follow SOPs without being told twice
• Able to read and write in Malay or English
• Willing to work in Mak Mandin, Butterworth

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm | Saturday: 8:30am – 1:30pm | Sunday: Rest Day | Total: 45 hrs/week
