Job summary

Intel Kulim is seeking a talented student intern for the Back End Automation Group to support Automation Integrators in advancing manufacturing automation systems.

You will assist with troubleshooting, upgrades, training, and root-cause analysis to improve efficiency, and contribute to software design and testing for factory operations, wafer processing, and packaging across multiple layers. The role emphasizes collaboration with global teams and applying ML/AI as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, CE, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C# programming.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Automation Integrators with troubleshooting, upgrades, training, and root-cause analysis to improve efficiency.
• Enable automation software design, development, testing, and debugging for factory operations and wafer processing.
• Support Station Controller systems through validation, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive automation projects and integrate ML/AI solutions as needed.
