Job summary
Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Kulim) is seeking a DevOps Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern to modernize software infrastructure with automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance scalability and reliability of manufacturing IT systems.
You will gain hands-on experience in automation, server deployment, and infrastructure tooling, while contributing to Intel's automation initiatives within the Foundry Automation group.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java).
- Understanding of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Linux/Unix and command-line tools.
Responsibilities
- Support development of operational reporting tools to boost efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to automate repetitive tasks.
- Assist in deploying and decommissioning servers in data centers.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation across provisioning to monitoring.
- Identify optimization opportunities for IT deployment software.
