Job summary

Intel Corporation in Kulim, Malaysia, is offering a student internship in the Back End Automation Group to support Automation Integrators in advancing manufacturing automation systems.

You will assist with troubleshooting, system upgrades, training, and RCA, while helping design, develop and test software for factory operations and wafer processing. On-site role with collaboration across global teams and potential AI integration.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; proficient in Python, C, and C#.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and manufacturing systems is important.
• Able to commit to a minimum internship period of 6 months.

Intel Foundry Automation - Back End Automation Group is seeking a talented student to support our Automation Integrators in advancing manufacturing automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Automation Integrators with troubleshooting, system upgrades, user training, and root cause analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Enable Automation Integrators in designing, developing, testing, and debugging software for factory operations, wafer processing, and packaging across multiple software layers.
• Support client-based Station Controller systems through validation, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive automation projects and integrate machine learning and AI solutions as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• They should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, and C#.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and manufacturing systems is also important.
