Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Automation Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and improve software automation solutions for engineering and manufacturing processes. The role involves developing automation scripts and applications, integrating software with equipment and systems, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions, and contribute to reliability and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, software eng, IT, E/E engineering, or related field.
Experience in software development, automation, or test engineering preferred.
Knowledge of software development and debugging methodologies.
Experience with automation frameworks, APIs, databases, or system integration is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain automation software and applications.
Develop automation scripts and tools to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts.
Troubleshoot and debug software, automation, and system integration issues.
Analyze process requirements and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
