Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Automation professional to design and implement automated systems in a manufacturing environment. You will lead mechanical automation design, system integration, and project management, ensuring successful handover and commissioning.

The role requires strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks/Inventor/AutoCAD), hands-on experience with motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and integration of PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical automation design, system integration, and project management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
• Experience in motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical assembly.
• Familiar with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and automation interfaces.
• Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 13849-1, CE, UL).
• Advantages: Python, data analytics, Power BI, and IoT integration for IR4.0 projects.
