Job summary
Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions across manufacturing processes. Qualifications
- Applicants with Software, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Technology Engineering backgrounds are preferable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions across manufacturing processes.
- Integrate hardware and software systems including robotics, machine vision, AMRs, and PLCs.
- Perform system simulation, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation: manuals, drawings, 3D models, training guides, preventive maintenance plans, and troubleshooting materials.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and IT to ensure system compatibility and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation system performance.
- Train technicians and end-users on proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
- Stay current with automation technology trends and recommend relevant improvements.
