Job summary

LS Smart Machinery in Malaysia offers an Automation Engineer internship to support our R&D team with daily tasks, design drafting, testing, assembly and fabrication (Mechanical or Automation).

You will perform research, document findings, follow supervisor instructions, and help maintain workshop order while gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering field (Mechanical, E&E, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D engineers in day-to-day tasks.
• Support in design drafting, testing, assembly and fabrication (Mechanical or Automation).
• Perform research and documentation as assigned.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain office/workshop cleanliness and order.
