Job summary

LS Smart Machinery in Malaysia offers an Automation Engineer internship to support our R&D team with daily tasks, design drafting, testing, assembly and fabrication (Mechanical or Automation).

You will perform research, document findings, follow supervisor instructions, and help maintain workshop order while gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering field (Mechanical, E&E, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D engineers in day-to-day tasks.

AUTOMATION ENGINEER (INTERN)

Job Description:

• Assist R&D engineers in day-to-day tasks
• Support in design drafting, testing, assembly and fabricating (Mechanical or AutomatioN)
• Perform research and documentation as assigned
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Maintain office/workshop cleanliness and order

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, E&E, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is additional advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Analytical, fast learner, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Internship more than 3 months or last year internship will be added advantages.
